Relationships and marriage had become a major taboo in the Church of Cold Hard Hearts.
Not only was it forbidden and frowned upon, but the leader did everything in his power to hinder, obstruct, hamper and discourage a man and a woman to enter into a relationship.
If you were one of the fortunate ones to try to do this, you received the third degree for doing something that was natural and normal for those between 19 and 25 anywhere in the world!
Yet Stewart Traill took to taking pot-shots and openly rebuked anyone who had the nerve to begin a romantic relationship! Adult men and women were repeatedly chastised openly just for the honest entrance into a relationship, while the rest of the group not only didn't challenge the old man for his blatant harshness, but jumped on the bandwagon with him, and joined in with his crude and punishing behavior!
One of the most cruel and shameful acts done by ST was during the Big Meeting held at Saint John the Divine, though there was nothing "divine" about what we were all subjected to by our so-called "teacher" who not only missed "grace" but also missed all the fruits of God's Holy Spirit!
We were discussing marriage and relationships. A visitor said that the fellowship had a zeal for Jesus, but there was one thing lacking in our church and he said that there were no marriages. Why is that the young visitor asked? God wants you all to have marriages.
At this point various brothers and sisters stood up and gave their suggestions as to how they were not faithful enough to Jesus to have a relationship. ST you brothers need to have spare zeal to get marred.
There are some brothers who are having wrong relationships with sisters, and these relationships are in the dark. Who is it so we can help them.

ST was making a mockery out of something that was beautiful. Curses were thrown on it. Mud and fear of marriage was also spit upon it.
This was done from the pit of hell, brought to you by Stewart Tanner Trail. It was okay for him to put away his wife away and take a younger wife for himself. But it was wrong for all else to have a wife.
This social hit to the couple who tried to follow the rules and they were shot down, was a well carried out scheme that spoke loud and clear to all who would dare try to get married for them to expect the same thing and treatment. ST did not want marriage because he know he would loose further control over the married ones.
This was a direct action against the bible, the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Nowhere in the bible does his perversion towards marriage exist nor does this doctrine that he expressed countless times. He still does this to this day.
The brother and the sister left shortly after this incident took place. He was never the same after this took place.
